Ex-FBI Director Is Terrified Of Trump, Says Top Officials May Flee The Country If He Wins

Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe has claimed that some intelligence officials from the Obama administration are seriously discussing fleeing the country if Donald Trump is reelected, due to concerns about potentially being prosecuted.

McCabe expressed fear that Trump would dismantle the DOJ and FBI in retaliation for their roles in investigating Russian collusion and the Hunter Biden laptop story.

“It’s terrifying. It’s frightening,” McCabe said.

He said former colleagues have had “torturous discussions with their family members about whether or not they have to leave the country to avoid being unconstitutionally and illegally detained.”

McCabe was involved in the Russia probe later found to have been launched without merit based on the discredited Steele dossier.

“I mean, people are actually worried about being thrown in jail or grabbed in some sort of extrajudicial detention,” McCabe added.

Intelligence officials also tried to undermine the Hunter Biden laptop reporting and used a letter from 51 former officials calling it disinformation.

McCabe ultimately lost his job after being fired by Jeff Sessions in 2018.
